Fruity and elegant on the nose. It reveals notes of cassis, wild berries and more slightly blackberry, liquorice associated with a fine touch of spices, oak, tea, touches of minerality as well as very discreet touches of flowers, incense/graphite.
The palate is mineral, well-balanced, racy, very slightly tight and offers freshness, density, a fine unctuosity as well as a beautiful grain very slightly powdered: notes of cassis, ripe red berries and more slightly cherry associated with fine touches lily/fresh flowers, subtle touches of liquorice, mocha/tonka bean as well as discreet touches of toasted and caramelization.
Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
Aged 12 months in French oak barrels with 25% new oak.
